Congratulations to Alitzel and Ivanna for receiving the Schmidt Research Accelerator Award!

Alitzel Villanueva and Ivanna Arrizon Elizarraras were awarded the Schmidt Research Accelerator Awards in the Winter of 2026. These awards will be used to conduct research on thermal stress on organismal performance, specifically giant kelp and sea urchins. Congratulations to both Ivanna and Alitzel!
