Alitzel receives the Coastal Fund Major Grant

"The Coastal Fund is bound by its mission to connect people and the environment by allocating funds to programs that celebrate, explore, and protect the coastal ecosystems in and around the University of California, Santa Barbara."  Awarded the Major Grant, Alitzel will utilize the Coastal Fund grant to support her research regarding how marine heatwaves impact the early-developmental stages of giant kelp.
