Information for Prospective Students

Our motto: Collaboration, Diversity, Coffee.  And we invite the applications of all interested students for the 2019-2020 academic year. When looking at programs at UCSB, students that apply to the lab can enter grad school via two different programs - we encourage you take a look into both the Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology (EEMB) program as well as the Interdepartmental Graduate Program in Marine Sciences (IGPMS) program in order to get an idea of which may be better suited for your graduate education. Before applying, we strongly suggest you contact members of the lab and get a sense of whether or not UCSB and the Hofmann lab will be the best place for you.
