Research in the Hofmann Lab focuses on global change biology in the oceans. Although we concentrate on environment-organism interactions and the role of physiology in the response of marine organisms to a changing environment, our research uses many approaches.
Our graduate students and postdocs have projects that include the use of oceanographic sensors, physiological tools, epigenetics, and transcriptomics to ask whether organisms can adapt to a changing ocean. We do our work in a variety of marine ecosystems, and we invite you to explore the links on the Hofmann Lab webpage.
